Joseph Pete Moore 79, of Charleston went home to be with the Lord August 18, 2012 at Hubbard Hospice House. Pete attended Kanawha Two Mile Bible Church and loved to watch football. Preceding him in death were his parents Delbert and Bertha Moore and 11 brothers and sisters. Survivors include his wife of 58 years Marie Tackett Moore; sons, Jeff Moore and wife Vicki of Kanawha City, son, Joe Moore and wife Kathy of Lexington, Ky.; daughter, Kathy Haynes and husband Dana of Salem, Va.; sister, Shirley Newhouse and husband Robert of Charleston. Grandchildren, Jason Haynes, Amy Thomas, Andrew Haynes, Eric Haynes, Megan Moore, Joelle Moore, Joseph Moore, Jareb Moore Joshua Moore and Jeweleanne Moore, Great Granddaughter, Chloe Marie Moore. One Step Great Grandson, Andrew Owens. Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday August 21, 2012 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with Pastor Joe Moore, Pastor David VanHorn and Rev. Al Mendez officiating. Burial will follow in Sissonville Memorial Gardens, Sissonville. Visitation with the family will be Monday from 6 to 8 pm at the Funeral Home.
