Jon M. Pritt, 44, of Charleston, passed away on Friday, September 25, 2015. Jon was a graduate of Sissonville High School and West Virginia State University. He was employed by CPG, a division of Columbia Gas, as a land agent. Jon enjoyed writing, playing his guitar and amateur photography. He also loved hockey and was a Pittsburgh Penguins fan. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James R Pritt and Kathleen G. Boggess; and step-father, James "Bodie" Helmick. Survivors include his loving wife, Abby McLeod of Charleston; father and step-mother, Danny R. and Bonnie Pritt of Sissonville; mother, Pam Helmick of Charleston; step-brothers, Benjie Meadows and wife, Aleshia of Honaker, VA and Nathan Meadows and wife, Melissa of Teays Valley; and several nieces and nephews. Also surviving are his extended family, Jeff and Jackie Moales of Pinch; and their sons, Jared, Jonathan, Seth, and Gabriel Moales. A memorial service will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home, Charleston, with Pastor Jeff Moales officiating and Jonathan Moales assisting. Friends may gather at the funeral home from 11:00 AM until service time Wednesday. In keeping with his wishes, Jon will be cremated and a private interment service will be held at a later date at Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes.
