John "Johnny" Phillips, 45, of Sissonville rode his Harley to Heaven on July 15, 2010. Johnny was a Carpenter out of the Carpenter's Union Local #1207. He was a member of the Eagles, the Eagle's Riders, and the Charleston Moose. He enjoyed Hunting and Loved Riding his Harley. He was preceded in death by his Step-Father, Lonnie Joe Phillips and Brother, Edgar Eugene Phillips. Surviving him is his Son, John Eric Phillips of Sissonville; Father, Howard Edgar Phillips of Sissonville; Mother, Zelma Spencer Phillips of Sissonville; Brothers and Sisters; Joyce Allen and husband Doug of Charleston; Wilma Beane and husband David of Sissonville; Kay Diem and husband Karl of Lewisburg; Jason Phillips of Sissonville; and Johnny's Girlfriend Ranee Myers of Pinch; Several Nieces and Nephews. Funeral Services will be 3:00 PM Sunday July 18, 2010 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with the Rev. Billy Casto officiating. Burial will follow in The Phillips Cemetery, Sissonville. Visitation with the family will be from 12:00 PM till service time on Sunday.
