John Matthew Smith, 52, of Charleston, WV, passed away on August 17, 2021 at CAMC Memorial Hospital. Born on May 5, 1969 in Ashford, WV, he was the son of the late Robert and Shirley Totten Smith. John was an electrical engineer for Siemens Energy. He is survived by his wife, Juanita Smith; sons, Kristopher (Felicia) Woody of Pinch, WV, Brent (Brittany) Smith of Cross Lanes, WV, Alex Smith of St. Albans, WV, and Cody (Savannah Kushner) Smith of Big Chimney, WV; brothers, Robert Eren, Frank Smith and William Eren, and his sisters, Victoria Williams, Kim Eren and Jeanne Kebriti; 7 grandchildren.Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 21st from 6-8pm at Cunningham Parker & Johnson Funeral Home in Charleston.
