John Andrew Harper, 52, of Charleston, WV, passed away on December 28, 2025. He was born on April 6, 1973, to Howard Harper and Connie Lovejoy.

John was a long-time cook for Joeys Bar and Grill. He loved spending time goofing off with his family and hanging out with close friends.

John is preceded in death by his father, Howard Harper; his mother, Connie Lovejoy; and his cousin, Donnie Bays.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 25 years, Misty; son, "Hair Bear" Tre; daddy's girl, Courtney; granddaughter, Alice; brothers; sister; nieces; nephews; and many friends whom he thought of as family.

John will be cremated, and a service will be held at a later date.

The family is asking for donations to be made to Cunningham Parker Johnson Funeral Home to help with the cost of services.
