John Ross Dillon, 37, of Dunbar, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2019 at his home. Born on June 28, 1982 in Parkersburg, he was a son of Rodney Dillon and Janet Turley Dillon of Charleston. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his beloved wife of 9 years, Michelle Dillon of Dunbar; children, Skyler and Phoenix Dillon of Dunbar; his paternal grandfather, Harry Turley of West Hamlin; mother and father-in-law, Becky and Michael Dean of St. Albans; brother, Jeremy Dillon of Beckley; sister-in-law, Sarah Dean of Dunbar; best friend and brother-in-law, Randy Young and sister-in-law, April Young of Dunbar, and his special nieces and nephews, Matthew Dillon, Shane and Nick Young, Jessica and Tyler Workman, Alivia and Colton Workman and Aubree O'Connor. John was a loving and kind family man. He loved music, gardening, swimming, hunting, fishing, grilling and especially spending time with his family. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home in Charleston, with Pastor Ray Belcher, officiating. The family will welcome friends one hour prior to services. Burial will follow at Cunningham Memorial Park in St. Albans.
