John Richard "Rick" Bennett, 65, of Charleston, formerly of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee passed away October 14, 2023 after an extended illness surrounded by family.

Rick was preceded in death by his parents, William John and Jewel Dean Bennett; siblings, Cynthia, Brad, and Joseph Bennett.

Rick is survived by his wife of 47 years, Carla Bennett; children, John Bennett (Stacie), and Melia Toney (Wes) of Charleston; grandchildren, Teegan and Tatum Toney; sister, Vickie Shannon of Belington; and many nieces and nephews.
