Joey Allen Slater, Jr., 23, of Charleston, WV,
passed away on April 21, 2020. Born on August 9, 1996 in Charleston,
he was the son of Joey Allen Slater, Sr. and Leslie Crouch Barker (Wade Justice) of
Charleston. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Patricia Key Slater; maternal grandmother, Susan Burdette and step-sister, Cathleen Harper. In addition to his parents, Joey is survived by his spouse, Johnna Slater; brother, Ryan Craigo; step-brothers, Dillon and Jake Lesher; aunt, Terri Brown; uncle, Scott Burdette, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. There will be no services. Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home is in charge of cremation arrangements.
