Joan Karen Wiseman Britton
Joan Karen Wiseman Britton, 62, of Liberty, went home to be with the Lord and other family members at her residence, June 15, 2017, after a long battle with cancer.
She was preceded in death by parents, James and Fronie Wiseman, and infant brother, Harlen.
Joan was a graduate of Case High School, Racine, Wisconsin, and was a medical assistant and homemaker.
Joan is survived by her husband of 38 years, Wayne Michael "Gunny" Britton, retired USMC; son, James "Jimmy" Britton and wife, Erica of Winfield; daughter, Katrina Renee' Wright, and husband Collin of Charleston; several grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Patsy Beres, Danny Wiseman and wife Debbie, Cathy Deal and husband, Richard.
Funeral service will be 7 p.m., Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home, Charleston, with the Rev. Don Jarrett officiating.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m., Monday, June 19, and one hour prior to service Tuesday at the funeral home.
