Jimmy White, 72, of Charleston, passed away, January 5, 2019, after a short illness.
Jimmy was retired from the South Charleston Stamping Plant, after 30 years of proud service, former member of Alliance M/C and a U.S. Army veteran. He was a devoted loving single father, who will be greatly missed. He loved hunting and fishing, and was a huge sports fan, of WVU football, And NASCAR.
Surviving are; his son, Brian White and wife, Lavonda of Ripley, daughter, Beth Carpenter and husband, Dewayne of North Carolins, and Jennifer White of Charleston; grandchildren, Hannah, Mason and Logan White, Kyndra, McKenzie and Madison Carpenter, and Trey and Jada Clark.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m., Thursday, January 10, at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home, Charleston, with the Rev. Scott Davis officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery, Charleston.
Visitation with the family will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, January 9, also at the funeral home.
