Jimmy Lee " Bumper" Spears born to Freda "Gail" Spears and Melvin "Jimmy" Spears on December 8, 1976 in Logan WV, departed this life on March 1, 2025 surrounded by the love of family and friends.

Bumper enjoyed fishing, talking with family and friends, driving around, going to eat, being a constant jokestar, laughing, and drinking his coffee.

He was proceeded in death by his father Melvin "Jimmy" Spears, sister Jessica Spears, stepmother Pamela Spears, Grandmother Blanche Frye, and niece Trinity Spears.

Those left to cherish his memories include his Mother Freda "Gail" Spears, aunt Mary Ross, Sisters Katrina (Joe) Chafin, Tabitha (Anthony) Spears, Marsha (Jeremy) Spears, Brothers James (Jr) Mitchell, Doug (Kim) Chapman, Christopher (Heather) Spears, Steven (Stacy) Spears, nieces Kirsten (Tyler) Gannon, A'lara Spears, Taylor Partlo, Malaya Fleming, Tinsley Spears nephews Timmy "Bub" Lawrence, Jeremy Fleming Jr., Tanner Spears, Aubrey Spears , Steven Spears Jr, Tucker Spears, Great Nephews Sammy and Dean Gannon, The Ruggles and Mitchell Families, Special friends Billy and Robbie Ruggles, Scott Lukacs, Christopher Smoot, Erica Martin, as well as a host of cousins, friends, and his amazing work family. Bumper will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He believed in helping others when he could and per his wishes his organs will be donated to hopefully extend the life of another. The family would like to express their gratitude to Pamela Gibson, Susan Yacomino, Mary Ann Varney, Scott Lukacs and his Highland work family for the exceptional care and friendship they offered to Bumper in his final days.

Graveside services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at Highland Memory Gardens Mausoleum, Logan. Burial will follow in Guyan Memorial Gardens, 119 Old Logan Road, Logan.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 12:00 p.m. before that service at the mausoleum.
