Jerry Hinkley 66 of Charleston passed away peacefully at his home July 19, 2015. Jerry was an Army Veteran and a member of Management at Sears. He enjoyed riding his Harley, playing golf and music. He was an excellent musician and loved playing his guitar. However his greatest love was for his family. Preceding him in death were his parents Ralph Winfield and Mary Legg Hinkley and his brother Ralph Hinkley. Survivors include his loving wife of 37 years Carma Hinkley; sons, Garrett and Justin Hinkley, both of Charleston; daughter, Geri Ann Parsons and husband Jimmy of Cross Lanes; brother, David Hinkley of Eugene, OR; sisters, Carol Hanson of Institute, Tonya Huffman of Hurricane and Edna Mace and husband Mike of Cross Lanes; grandchildren, Cayden Lee Hinkley, James and Lexi Parsons; brother-in-law, Marshall Casdorph of Charleston. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday July 22, 2015 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with Rev. Donna Miller officiating. Burial with Military Graveside Rites provided by American Legion Post, 61 Clendenin will be in Matthew-Casdorph Cemetery, Charleston. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to services also on Wednesday.
