Jerry Wayne Harper Jerry Wayne Harper, 50, of Charleston, passed away, October 23, 2011, at home after a sudden illness. He was a 1979 graduate of Sissonville High School, enjoyed hunting, fishing and target practice. Jerry was preceded in death by his father, Donald Ray Harper, Sr.; and brother, Larry G. Harper. He is survived by his mother, Betty McCune Harper; sisters, Donna Jane Proctor and husband, David of Louisville, Kentucky, Tammy Jo Lambert and husband, Chris of Scott Depot, Vicki Renee Thompson and husband, Mike of Sissonville; brother, Donald Ray Harper, Jr. of Charleston; half-sister, Marsha Lindberg of Hurricane; six nephews, 4 nieces and several great-nephews and great-nieces. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, October 25, at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home, Charleston, with the Rev. Allen "Butch" Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Pocatalico. Visitation with the family will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
