Janet Medley Hammack Janet Medley Hammack, 87, of Hurricane, formerly of Charleston, went home to be with the Lord on April 6, 2015. Janet was employed at Stone & Thomas / Elder Beerman for 30 years as a sales clerk. She also attended Charleston Mountain Mission Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, William T. Hammack; parents, Erra W. and Luella Medley; brother, Darrell Medley; and sisters, Opal McCamey and Lorena Gray. Survivors include her loving son, William C. Hammack and wife, Belinda of Hurricane; grandson, William C. Hammack, III of Morrisville, NY; brother, Eugene Medley of Ashland, KY; three nieces; and two nephews. Also surviving are two loyal and constant canine companions, Gable and Bogie. Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Friday, April 10, 2015 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with Pastor Kenny Petry officiating. Burial will follow at Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans.
