Jan Pereira, 72, of Charleston went home to be with the Lord February 23, 2011. She was a longtime Employee of Charleston Department Store, Active Member of Valley Christian Assembly of God, an Avid Gardener and enjoyed the Outdoors. She was preceded in death by Parents Joe and Iva McClanahan Roberts. Survived by her Loving Husband, Al Pereira of Charleston; Children David Bodkin of Florida; Lyn Landfried and her husband Pete of Kenna. Grandchildren, Christina Russell of Charleston; Nathan Trevor and Bailey Landfried, all of Kenna. Al's Children, Kim Pennington of Hurricane, Cynthia Savage, Shelly Pereira, Michael Pereira, Mitchell Pereira, all of Richmond Virginia; their children, Lauren, Paige, Blair, Mimi, Anna, Kelsey, Luke, Anthony, Johnathon, Mitchell, Grady and Gracie. Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Saturday February 26, 2011 at Valley Christian Assembly of God, 1703 Bigley Avenue Charleston with the Rev. Phillip Dunn officiating. Visitation with the family will be two hours prior to services at the Church. Private burial will follow in McClanahan Cemetery, Charleston.
