James Lovel Tomblin, 49, of Sissonville, West Virginia, passed away February 23, 2026. Born June 20, 1976, he was preceded in death by his mother, Elaine Tomblin, and his father, James Tomblin.

James is survived by his son, Brandon Tomblin; his sisters, Lorie Mobley and Tammy Shamblin; and many cousins, aunts, uncles, and nephews and nieces.

He worked as an iron worker for most of his career. Outside of work, James found happiness in the quiet moments at home. He loved caring for the animals on his small farm and could often be found tinkering in his garage, always fixing, building, or improving something with his hands. He valued the outdoors and hard work.

He will be missed by the ones whose lives he touched over the years.
