James H. S. (Shannon) Marsh James H. S. Marsh, 37, of Charleston, better known to his family and friends as Shannon, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at CAMC General Division. Shannon was born March 13, 1973, to Teresa Dawson Marsh, and the late Danny Allen Marsh. Preceding him in death were his brother, Bobby Copley, and his grandfather, Robert C. Dawson. Besides his mother, he is survived by his beloved grandmother, Thelma L. Dawson; his aunt, Sharon Martin Copley; his special cousin, Jaylee Barlow, all of Charleston; and his beloved pet, Duncan. A celebration of Shannon's life will be held at 5:00 pm, Thursday, at North Charleston Apostolic Church, 2408 6th Avenue, in North Charleston, with Pastor Anthony Moss officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 5:00 pm at the Church. There will be no graveside service.
