James Kenneth Scott, 88, of Charleston, WV, went home to be with the Lord on January 27, 2025. Scotty retired from the U.S. Army in 1980 after serving for more than 24 years.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 63 years, Sharon Scott; sons James, Timothy, and John Scott; grandchildren Charlie, Caleb, and Joshua; and great-grandchildren John Charles, Harrison, Roxanne, Coleigh, and Joseigh.

Per Scotty's wishes, he will be cremated with no services.
