James Robert Pritt, Jr., of Charleston went home to be with the Lord on Saturday April 3, 2010, after a short illness. He was a 1962 Graduate of West Virginia State College, and retired from South Charleston Stamping Plant in 2006. James was preceded in death by his father, James Robert Pritt, Sr.; mother, Anna Burdette; sister, Mary Boggess; and son James Robert Pritt, III. Surviving him are his wife of 50 years, Mabel Pritt; daughter, Bessie Babick and husband Mark of St. Albans; daughter, Connie Evans and husband David of Greensboro, NC; sister, Janet and husband Emory Boggess; Grandchildren, Mallory Blake, Brandi Tate, Felicia Tate, and Jessica Evans; Great Grandchildren, James Blake, Hailee Blake, Aaliyah Adams, and Madison Hall; and many other family and friends. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday April 7, 2010 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with the Rev. Billy Casto officiating. Burial will follow in the Pritt Cemetery, Charleston. Visitation with the family will be 2 hours prior to services also on Wednesday.
