James J. "Junior" Fields, 83, of Charleston, went home to be with his Lord on Friday, July 24, 2009 after a short illness. He was born on January 12, 1926, the son of the late James D. and Velma Skeens Fields. In addition to his parents, his is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Betty L. Fields; grandson, Chris Pauley; and sister, Hazel. Surviving him are daughters, Sharon Pauley and Brittany Fields; sons, Tony and Timmy Fields; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sisters, Ruby Bradley and Lorine Goff; and brothers, Orville, Bob and Butch Fields. Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday July 28, 2009 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with Rev. Travis Bradley and Rev Bob Fields officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Garden of Memories. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
