James David Harrison, 67, of Charleston, WV, passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at home. He was born on February 13, 1957, to the late George and Josephine Williams Harrison.

James worked in construction and dug many graves in the surrounding area, earning him the nickname "Gravedigger." He also enjoyed fishing and hunting outdoors.

In addition to his parents, James is preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Harrison, brother Joey Harrison, and sister Peggy Elmore.

Those left to cherish his memory include his sister, Wanda Tolley, niece, Linda Troup, and nephew, John Tolley.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Hospice and Dale Thaxton.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, August 19, 2024, at the Thaxton Cemetery, Wolf Pen, with Pastor Butch Thompson officiating.
