James E. Gibson's Obituary
James E. Gibson 69 of Sissonville went home to be with the Lord on February 15, 2017.
James was a U.S. Army Veterans; retired from Kanawha County School and attended Grapevine Chapel.
James is survived by his loving wife of 43 years Virginia Derrick Gibson; daughter, Marylou Toole and husband Sean "Jesse W."; brothers, Johnny, Nester and Larry Gibson; sister, Kathy Smith; grandchildren, Shane D. Newhouse, Steven M. Newhouse, CaSandra "J.D." Toole, Jeffrey and Jamie Carbaugh and Six Great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be 1:00 pm Monday February 20, 2017 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with Leroy Conner officiating. Burial with Military Graveside Rites provided by American Legion Post 61, Clendenin will follow in Sissonville Memorial Gardens, Sissonville. Visitation with the family will be from 5 to 8 PM Sunday also at the funeral home.
