James K. Fisher, 71, of Huntington, went home, Friday June 19, 2009 at Hospice House of Huntington. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mott and Millie Fisher, and a special nephew, Rick Huff. Jim served his country with pride as a US Marine, and was a welder. Surviving are his loving daughters and their husbands, Robin and Scott Bradley of Cross Lanes, and Bonnie and Bo Abbott of Charleston; brother and sister-in-law, Norman and Betty Fisher of Dunbar; sister and brother-in-law, Jean and Al Whalen of Las Vegas, Nevada; grandchildren, Steven Reed of Nitro, Amy Hudson of Charleston, and Julie Hudson of Vermont; three great-grandchildren; one niece and four nephews; and special friend Janice Fisher. To honor Jims request there will be graveside services at 2 p.m. Monday, at Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Pocatalico, with the Rev. Bill Berry officiating, and military graveside rites by American Legion Post No. 61, Clendenin. Burial will follow the service. The family would like to express sincere thanks to Hospice House of Huntington for their wonderful care and spiritual support.
