James "Butch" Phillips, 70 of Charleston, passed away March 12, 2017.
Butch was retired from Charleston Newspapers and was a U.S. Army Veteran.
Survivors include his loving wife of 51 years, Pamela Haynes Phillips; son, James "Gizz" Phillips, Jr., and wife Kelly; daughters, Cassie Phillips Powell and husband Donald and Jeannie Phillips Miller; and a sister, Joyce.
Grandchildren, Josh, Larry, Brian, Isaac, Matthew; Jeana, Synthia, KaiLynn and 13 Great Grandchildren.
His wishes were to have no service or visitation.
