James Gary Beane 72 of Sissonville passed away December 25, 2015 at Hubbard Hospice House. He was retired from the US Postal Service as Post Master of Ravenswood, proudly serviced our country in the Air Force during the Vietnam War, member of The Nitro Moose, VFW and was an avid Hunter and Fisherman. Preceding him in death were his parents James Conard and Audra Beatrice McClanahan Beane and his sister Dottie Beane. Survivors include his loving wife Ruth Beane; son, Jim Beane ll of Sissonville; daughters, Missy Coffman and husband Troy of Sissonville, Lisa and husband Matt Allagas and Ellen King both of Roanoke, VA and Marie McMillion and husband Mike of Sissonville; sister, Carol Baldwin and husband James of Sissonville. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Thursday December 31, 2015 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Toole officiating with Military Honors provided by American Legion Post 61, Clendenin. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to services. It was his wishes that his body be cremated. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations to Kanawha Hospice Care, 1606 Kanawha Blvd. W. Charleston, WV 25387.
