James R. Ballengee, Sr., 68 of Charleston passed away December 6, 2012 after a long illness. He was a U.S. Army Veteran during the Vietnam War and was an Electrician out of the IBEW Union #466. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching football. Jim was preceded in death by his parents Byron and Naomi Ballengee. Survivors include his son James E. "Richie" Ballengee, Jr. and his wife Stacy of Kenna; daughter, Tara Fisher and her husband Travis of Sissonville; brothers, Byron Ballengee, Jr., of Pinch and John Ballengee of Charleston; sisters, Ruth Kennedy of Pinch and Jean Smith of North Carolina. Grandchildren James Allen Ballengee, Austin Cain Fisher and Michael Cole Fisher. Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Monday December 10, 2012 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with Pastor David Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes.
