James Jerry Ballard, 87, of Charleston, passed away on Wednesday, November 12, 2025. He was born on January 19th,1938, to the late Vinnie Ballard.

In addition to his mother, Jerry is preceded in death by his ; grandmother, Sarah Ballard; "brothers" Buddy and Harold Ballard; son, Kevin Ballard; step-granddaughter, Campbell Elisabeth Williams; and stepson, Donald R. Williams.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Carolyn E. Ballard; daughter, Tina L. Ballard Slack; niece, Kathy (Bob) Dabney; stepsons, John C. Williams and Scott A. Williams (Winnie); and step-grandson, Ezekiel Williams.

Per Jerry's wishes, he will be cremated, and no services will be held at this time.
