Iva Lou Burgess, 90, went home to be with the Lord March 28, 2019.
She was preceded in death by her parents Perry and Maude Spradling; husband Robert R. Burgess; daughter in-Law Vickie Cummings; sisters Mary Ann Coon and Betty Jo Stump.
Surviving is her son Bob Burgess; and several nieces and nephews, and loving dog, Baby.
Lou attended Charleston Mountain Mission where she sang in the choir and volunteered at the Mountain Mission Thrift Store, member of the Eastern Star where she served as Past Worthy Matron, she enjoyed motorcycle riding, boating and many other outdoor activities with her husband and friends over the years. She was retired from the Kroger Company.
Funeral Services will be 11 a.m., Monday April 1 at Cunningham-Parker- Johnson Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Price officiating. Burial will be in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes.
Visitation will be 4-7pm Sunday at the funeral home.
