Isaac Fenton Withrow 90 of South Charleston went home to be with the Lord on March 25, 2017 at Hubbard Hospice House.
Isaac was born February 4, 1927 in Charleston to the late Dewey Stanton and Rosie Lee Hudson Withrow. Isaac was also preceded in death by his son, Isaac T. Withrow; and sister, Irene.
Isaac had worked for C&O Railroad for many years, at the age of 18 he was drafted in the U.S. Army having been stationed in Germany. At the age of 25 he was ordained to the ministry under Pastor B.G. Entsminger. He had pastored many of the local Apostolic Churches in the area; North Charleston, Henderson, WV, Elk Two Mile "Now Keystone", helped start the building of Bakers Fork Church, Kanawha City, Marmet and East Point. Evangelized Various Local Churches in Kingsport, TN and Missionary Work in Ecuador in 1976.
Survivors include his loving wife, Dolores; daughter, Dolores Means and husband Greg of Poca; Rebecca Hill and husband Doug of Charleston and daughter, Cathy Martin and husband Bill of Hickory, NC. Seven Grandchildren 15 Great Grandchildren and Three Great Great Grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Thursday March 30, 2017 at North Charleston Apostolic Church with Pastor Anthony Moss officiating. Burial with Military Graveside Rites provided by American Legion Post 61, Clendenin will follow in Graceland Memorial Park, South Charleston. Visitation with the family will be two hours prior to services also at the Church.
