Inez Tanner Inez Tanner, 86, passed away on February 14, 2014, at Hubbard Hospice House West in South Charleston. She was preceded in death by her parents Alpha and Maudeline Pettry; and her husband Paul E. Tanner. She is survived by her son David and Vi Myers of GA, granddaughters Teresa Whitmore of NC and Patricia McClendon of IN; grandson Greg Myers of OH; 5 great grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; brothers, Darrell Pettry, Harold Pettry, Bobby Pettry and Willis Pettry; sister Patricia Webb; brother-in-law Denny Thompson; and sister-in-law Margaret Pettry. Also surviving are many cousins, nieces, nephews, and in-laws. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, February 18, 2014, at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home, Charleston, with the Rev. Mark Hunter, officiating. Burial will be in Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans. Visitation for family and friends will be from 6-8pm Monday at the funeral home.
