Ida Mae Shaffer, 90 of Charleston passed away October 22, 2012. She was retired from Montgomery Ward after many years of service and attended Sugar Creek Missionary Baptist Church. Ida was preceded in death by her husband Archie and three children, Alvin Rodney and Jamie. Survivors include several grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters, Hallie Newhouse and Nina Lee Flowers both of Charleston and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services and Entombment will be 1:00 PM Friday October 26, 2012 in the Chapel at Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Pocatalico with Donnie Rucker officiating. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to services also at the Mausoleum Chapel.
