Hershel W. "Pete" Burdette, 76, of Sissonville passed away August 21, 2017.
Pete was a Mechanic and owned and operated several services stations in the Kanawha Valley for many years. He enjoyed hunting and was a member of Golgotha Church on Legg Fork, Sissonville.
Pete was preceded in death by his parents Okey and Ruby Burdette; son, Clinton Burdette; sister, Violet Burdette and brother, Monty Burdette.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years Karen Sue Burdette; daughter, Gloria Sue Walker; son, Eric W. Burdette; two grandchildren, Kista Britton and Hannah Walker; two great grandchildren Tayton and Kynadee Britton; sister, Ilene Kidd and husband Oscar.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Thursday August 24, 2017 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Good officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Pocatalico. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to services also on Thursday.
