Herbert Lee Fisher, 87, of Charleston, passed away March 24, 2011 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his parents, William H. Fisher and Mary Amanda Holley Fisher; brothers, Arlige, Dennis, Pete and Brownie Fisher. Herbert was retired from the city of Charleston. Surviving are; his wife, Pauline Davis Fisher, of Charleston; daughter Gina Fisher Cowley and her husband, Doug Cowley of Baltimore, Maryland; granddaughter, Lauren Cowley; and sister, Hazel Fisher Thomas of Melbourne, Florida. Memorial service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, March 27, 2011, at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home, Charleston, with the Rev. Buddy Mairs officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Sunday, at the funeral home. Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home is serving the Fisher family.
