Henry O'Daniels, Jr., 88 of Charleston passed away October 10, 2017.
Mr. O'Daniels proudly served in the U.S. Army during The Korean War. He retired from Union Carbide with 38 years of service and attended The Charleston Mountain Mission. He enjoyed trout fishing on the Williams River, Hunting and Camping, he hosted at Day Run Camp Ground. He also enjoyed trips to Myrtle Beach.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Henry and Annie Hunt O'Daniels; brothers, Roy, Charles, Wilford and Bob O'Daniels; sister, Ethel Weatherington.
Survivors include his loving wife of 62 years, Oreda Swindler O'Daniels; son, Keith Wayne O'Daniels of New Lenox, Il; daughter, Crystal Godbey and husband Ron of Charleston; grandchildren, Nathan Godbey and wife Amanda and Tiffany Long and husband Shaun; great grandchildren, Lillionna, Addison and Sloane Godbey, Blake, Reed and Vivian Long.
Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Saturday October 14, 2017 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Long officiating. Burial will follow in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to services also on Saturday.
