Heather Eileen Burdette Heather "Eileen" Burdette, 78, of Sissonville went home to be with her personal savior, Jesus Christ on January 17, 2010. She was born March 29, 1931 in Mink Shoals, WV to the late William Franklin Bostic and Ufa Hazel Sigmon-Bostic. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, doting grandmother, great-grandmother, and a great-great grandmother, beloved sister, and a precious friend. She was a Christian and a life-long member of Grapevine Chapel. In addition to her parents, Eileen was preceded in death by the love of her life, Hank Burdette, whom she will now be with for all eternity. She is survived by her daughter, Cherita and Ronnie Myers of North Carolina; sons, Jeff and Sandy Burdette, Tony and Kandi Burdette, Chris Burdette, Nick and Serena Burdette, all of Sissonville; 12 grandchildren, 14 great- grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She is also survived by her beloved brothers, Rex Bostic and Frankie Bostic; beloved sisters, Freda Holmes, Blanche Bailey and husband Eugene. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, January 19, at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Donnie Kiser officiating. Burial will be in Hank Burdette Cemetery, Grapevine Road, Sissonville. Visitation with the family will be from 11 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the funeral home. She will always be in our hearts and we will love her forever.
