Hazel I. Young, 84, of Nitro, formerly of Chandler Drive, passed away December 11, 2010 at CAMC General Division. She was a Homemaker and lifelong resident of Kanawha County. Hazel was preceded in death by her Parents, Abner A. and Vesta Jordan Mitchell; Husband, Haskell F. "Tom" Young; Brother, Abner A. Mitchell, Jr., and her Sister, Eula Buckalew. Surviving her are Son, Tommy L. Young and Companion, Sharon Lane, of Charleston; Daughter, Kathy Jones and her Husband Wendell; Brother, Ray Mitchell; Sister, Marjorie Casdorph. Grandchildren, David Walker, Joey Walker, Jeffrey Walker, Tommy Young, II and Chad Skeens. Seven (7) Great Grandchildren and Several Nieces and Nephews left to mourn her passing. Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday December 15, 2010 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Pocatalico.
