Hazel Burgess, 77, of Charleston passed away at Hubbard Hospice House on October 9, 2010. She was a former employee of Frankenbergers and Kelley's Men Store. She was a Loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, Addam and Icie Price Randolph. Surviving her is her Loving Husband, Charles Burgess; Children, Jeanie "Peaches" Slater and her husband Buddy of Cross Lanes; Diana Chandler and her husband Walt; Vickie Burgess, of Sissonville; and Jeff Burgess and his wife Kim of Dunbar. Brothers, Leon Randolph and his wife Karen of Sissonville, and Jerrell Randolph of Charleston, Grandchildren, Jason and Michael Chandler; Chris Hughart, Shelly Peck, Jessie and Faliven Burgess, Bobby and Marie Slater. Great Grandchildren, Kinsey, Sydnie, Clay, Emalee, Halea, Maddy and Elizabeth. The Family suggests Donations to Hubbard Hospice House, 1001 Kennawa Drive, Charleston, WV 25311, in Mrs. Burgess' name. Special Thanks to Granddaughter Shelly for her Special Attention and Loving Care for her Grandmother. Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday October 13, 2010 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with Jim Burgess officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Park, Dunbar. Visitation with the family will be from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday at the Funeral Home.
