Obituary

Harold Dean Wines 80 of South Charleston passed away June 13, 2016 at Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston. He was retired from the U.S. Army with 21 years of service, having served during the Vietnam War. Harold retired from the Dietary Department at CAMC General Division; member of the Nitro Moose Lodge; A Kentucky Colonel; member of National Association of Uniformed Services and The American Legion. He was preceded in death by his parents, Garett Hobart and Mayme Burgess Wines; brother, Arlage Wines and sisters, Frances Wickline, Maxine Taylor, Louise Taylor and Reva Clark. Survivors include his son, Larry Dean Wines and wife Dibby Eve of Columbus; daughter, Terry Lynn Wines of Columbus; brother, Dayton Wines of Akron and sister, Mary Taylor of Charleston. Grandchildren, Jared Dawson, Erik Wines, Rebecca Wines and Emily Dawson. Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Saturday June 18, 2016 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with Rev. David Cooper officiating. Burial with Military Graveside Rites provide by American Legion Post 61, Clendenin will follow in Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Pocatalico. Visitation with the family will be from 6 to 8 PM Friday June 17 at the funeral home.
