Harold R. Moss, 74, of Cross Lanes, formerly of Sissonville, passed away April 3, 2019.
He was a beloved father and grandfather who loved the Lord with all his heart. He had an infectious smile and will always be remembered for his funny, kind and compassionate spirit, he enjoyed life by traveling the world and surrounding himself with family and friends who he loved dearly.
He was a retired truck driver with Continental American Trucking Company (CATCO), was a member of Union Valley Church, and enjoyed his winters in Ormond Beach, Florida.
Preceding him in death and waiting with open arms his beloved wife, Betty Jo Pugh Moss; parents, John David and Dorothy Gay Spencer Moss. Survivors include his loving wife Donna L. Steed; daughters, Trina McCoy, Tonia Fortune and husband Carlos, Darcy Keeler and husband Bill, Theresa Johnson and husband Geoffrey, Jackie Evans and husband Bernie and Mary Lou Tyssen brothers, Noble Moss and David Moss, Jr.; sisters, Wilma "Sissy" Taylor, and Linda Burdette. 18 Grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be 1:00 pm Saturday, April 13, 2019 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with Pastor Keith Monday officiating. Burial will follow in Sissonville Memorial Gardens, Sissonville. Visitation with the family will be 6 to 9 pm Friday April 12, also at the funeral home.
