Harold L "Lightening Withrow" Milam 87, of Charleston passed away March 29, 2015 at St. Francis Hospital. He was a Retired Truck Driver; having started driving in 1969, was a former employee of Charleston Street Department and loved to hunt and fish. Preceding him in death were his parents, Odell and Ethel Mandy Price Milam; wife, Frances Kathleen Milam; sisters, Annie Goff and Myrtle Jett; brothers, Roger, Roy and Tommy Withrow and Lafe Milam. Survivors include his sons, Harold Fravel Milam and wife Patricia of South Charleston and David E. "Crocky" Milam and wife Yvonne of Hurricane; daughter, Nona Huffman and husband Gary of Charleston; brothers, James Withrow and wife Mary Lou of Sissonville; Kermit Withrow and wife Leona of Charleston Denver Milam and wife Patty of Sissonville; Doak Milam and wife June of Teays Valley and Carl Wayne Milam and wife Terri of Ripley; sisters, Belva Armstead of Charleston; Phyllis Holley and husband Frank of Florida and Pauline Jackson and husband Larry of Ripley. Five grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Thursday April 2, 2015 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with the Rev. William K. Berry officiating. Burial will follow in Springhill Cemetery, Charleston. Visitation with the family will be from 6 to 8 PM Wednesday also at the Funeral Home.
