Mr. Greg M. Gerencir, 49, of Charleston was born September 24, 1960, left this earthly life to be with our heavenly father on July 3, 2010 after suffering from a short illness. Greg had a wonderful zest for life and will be missed by so very many. A longtime Charleston hairdresser, who enjoyed the outdoors, working in his flower gardens, showing horses, a sport he dearly loved. Greg always wore a smile and never met a stranger. Greg leaves behind his Mother, Marilyn R. Gerencir of Charleston; Father, Louis N. Gerencir of Clay; Brothers, Jeff L. Gerencir and family of South Charleston, Bill L. Gerencir and family of Winfield; Sister, Laurie B. Casey and family of Kenna, and a host of nephews, nieces and cousins. And longtime Friend Ben Robinson of Charleston. At Greg's request services will be private. A special thanks to all the doctors and nurses of CAMC, Memorial Division whom provided wonderful care and compassion for Greg at the time of his illness.
