Gordon "Rick" Howard Keene II, 59, of Charleston, WV, passed away at Hubbard Hospice House due to lung cancer on February 26, 2025. He was born on September 19, 1965, to the late Howard and Shirley Keene.
Rick was employed by the Department of Arts, Culture, and History, where he became close friends with his coworkers, considering them as family. He was a bike enthusiast and loved riding his cannondale's. In 2023, Rick was documented as riding over 44,000 miles. He loved listening to Rock N Roll music.
Those left to cherish his memory include his good friend Brenda Fowler (Man), the love of his life Tammy Fowler (Buff), many uncles, aunts, cousins, close friends, and sister Heather Bell and her children of Charleston.
To honor Ricks's wishes, he will be cremated, and a celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
