Geraldine Faye "Jerri" Barfield of Charleston went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday October 28, 2015 at Hubbard Hospice House after a brief battle with cancer. She was born in Charleston on September 17, 1945. Preceding her in death was her parents James and Martha Hardy; brother, William "Bill" Hardy and a nephew Rondal Lovejoy. She is survived by her brother, James Hardy of Sissonville; sisters, Mary Harper of Sissonville, Geneive "Jenny" Lovejoy of Alexandria, VA and a host of nieces, nephews and friends and the love her life Charlie "her dog." Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday November 3, 2015 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with the Rev. Gerald "Jerry" Walls officiating. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to services on Tuesday. Entombment will follow in Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Pocatalico.
