Gerald "Jerry" Rhodes, Jr., 59 of Charleston was born January 14, 1954 and left this earth on November 27, 2013 after a short illness. Jerry was a U.S. Army Veteran and a Machine Operator in the Chemical Industry. Preceding him in death was his mother, Donna "Jeannie" Rhodes. Survivors include his father, Gerald G. "Pete" Rhodes, Sr., and wife Linda; sister, Connie Reed and husband Jerry, all of Charleston; step-brother, Todd Miller and wife Angie of Nitro. Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday December 4, 2013 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with the Rev. Linda Rhodes officiating. Burial will follow in the Donel C. Kinnard Memorial State Veterans Cemetery, Dunbar. Visitation with the family will be from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday at the Funeral Home.
