Gerald "Ekie" Kiser, Jr., of Charleston, WV passed away peacefully at his home after an extended illness. Ekie was the beloved husband and best friend of his one and only love of 37 years, Lisa Kiser. He was a devoted father of Derek Kiser and Kayla (Britt) Green; dear son of the late Gerald and Dottie Kiser. Ekie loved the life he lived and lived everyday to the fullest. He was a successful business owner who was passionate about his work and taking care of his family. In his down time, he loved to hunt, ride his motorcycle and spent time with his family/friends. He will be remembered for his infectious laugh, sense of humor, kind heart and willingness to lend a helping to any one in need. Ekie is also survived by his brother Lonnie Dale (Phyllis) Kiser; sisters Trena (Rosswell) Swartz, Nancy Haynes; and many other nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held Friday, November 12, 1pm at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with Pastor Dana Clay officiating. Burial will follow in Kiser Family Cemetery, Wolf Pen, Charleston.
