Georgia Ann Watts, 69, of Charleston, WV, passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at Thomas Memorial Hospital. She was born on July 19, 1954 to the late Richard Eugen Stutler and Mary Louise Roberts Stutler.
Georgia began working at Shoney's when she was 16 years old as a carhop. She worked her way up to management retiring after 40 years of employment. Georgia was seen as a mother and friend to everyone.
In addition to her parents, Georgia is preceded in death by her brothers Richard W. Stutler and Dicky Stutler, and sister Rebecca Earlleen Rose.
Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband of 39 years John Watts, son Danny Holt II, and daughter Mary Ann Parsons, sister Patty (Eddie) Counts of Richwood, Gidget (Ron) Raines of St. Albans, and Nikki Hickman of Gay, brothers Willie (Karen) Stutler of Gay, Bobby (Kim) Stutler of Elkview, and Ricky (Kristy) Stutler of Ravenswood, several nieces, nephews, special aunts and uncles, four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, February 12, 2024 at Cunningham Parker Johnson Funeral Home with Pastor Claude Holley officiating. Burial will follow in Elk Hills Memorial Park. At the family's request there will be no graveside services.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home before the service.
