Georgia Marie Hackney Harless Georgia Marie Hackney Harless, 81, of Charleston, came to the end of her journey, January 25, 2013. Georgia was a generous and loving woman who cared for all, young to old, as a foster parent and adult care provider. She considered all her children as family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton "Windy" Harless; son, Clinton Harless; grandson, Kevin Crouch; six brothers and two sisters. She is survived by her children, JoAnn Haynes of Charleston, Connie Hall of Tornado, Linda Barker, Jeffrey Harless, and Tommy Harless all of Charleston; and extended daughter, Carolyn Abner; sister, Margie Compton of Sissonville; brothers, Jack Hackney and Bobby Hackney both of Florida; 17 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and 25 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home, Charleston, with the Rev. Ron Shamblin officiating. Burial will be in Hackney Cemetery, Derricks Creek. Visitation with the family will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
