George W. Pridemore, Sr., 67 of Charleston passed away October 28, 2014. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Guthrie Pridemore, infant child and his parents, Fountain and Julia Pridemore. Survivors include his wife, Anita Pridemore; sons, George "G.W." Pridemore, Jr., of Cross Lanes and Sean Pridemore of Charleston; brothers and sisters, William "Bud" and Sandy Pridemore of Mobile, Alabama, Ellen and William Martin of Northfield, Ohio, Jess and Shelley Pridemore of Sissonville and Cynita and Ron Dodrill of St. Albans. Grandchildren Brooke Miller and Lindsee Williams, Rikki Lynn Burford, Trenitie Albrecht, Brayden Haynes and Abigail Long; step-children. Carrie Burford and husband, Ricky, Mindy Long and husband, Clayton, Laurance Page and wife, Carolyn, and Joshua Haynes. Memorial Services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday November 1, 2014 at Highlawn Baptist Church, St. Albans with the Rev. Art Morrison officiating. It was George's wishes to be cremated.
