George Albert Fisher George Albert Fisher, 81, of Sissonville, passed away February 27, 2015 at Cedar Ridge Center. George retired from Unisource in 1999 after 48 years of employment. He also loved golf and was an avid WVU Mountaineers fan. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clate and Edith Burdette Fisher; and brother, Robert Fisher. Survivors include his loving wife, Helen Fisher of Sissonville; children, Stanley Fisher and wife, Debbie of Romance, Jerry Fisher and wife, Jerribeth of Cross Lanes, David Fisher and wife, Kim of South Charleston, and Scott Fisher and wife, Gail of Sissonville; grandchildren, Chad Fisher, Taylor Young and husband, Matt, Travis Fisher, Fallon Fisher, Kalyn Fisher, Brittany Fisher, Zach Fisher, Jacob Fisher, Jace Fisher, and Brian Thomas; brothers, Noble Fisher and wife, Faye, Ervin Fisher and wife, Margaret, Larry Fisher and companion, Anna, Charles Fisher and wife, Brenda; sisters, Carolyn Dixon and husband Brent, Kathy Jordan and husband, Larry and Betty Baldwin and husband, Ira; and best friend, Denver Lanham and wife, Linda of Myrtle Beach, SC. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. A memorial gathering will be held Monday, March 2, 2015 from 6 - 8 PM at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home, Charleston. Inurnment will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials in George's name should be directed to the Alzheimer's Association West Virginia Chapter, 1601 2nd Ave., Charleston, WV 25387.
