Gary Lee Oxley of Hurricane WV, born on November 28th, 1949, has gone home to be with his Lord and Savior after a short battle with cancer on February 7th, 2026. He was a transmission mechanic for most of his life.

He is preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Marie (Walker) Oxley, sisters Norma Carpenter and Lylia Fields, and a special best friend Dundee.

Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter Melinda Betz (John), son Gary Oxley (Kim), 6 grandchildren, sister Donna Thaxton, and lots of friends.

Gary's wishes were to be cremated with no services, he will be missed by all who loved him.
